Mark Williams joined the MCDC as President in 2015.
Mark has a long and accomplished career in finance going back to his first position as a Bank Teller in 1982. Over the years, Mark has developed his skills in credit/financial analysis, loan review, portfolio management and loan origination at various institutions including Bank and non-Bank lenders. Mark has been a long-time proponent of SBA lending, having completed his first 504 loan in 1999 working with the MCDC.
Mark’s passion lies in seeing how access to the SBA loan programs creates a positive impact on the business, the owners, the employees and communities throughout Michigan. He also serves on the board of another statewide mission-based lender.
Mark earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Financial Administration from the Eli Broad College of Business at Michigan State University.
