Marnie Spitzley serves as the Vice President – Operations. Marnie joined the MCDC staff during the summer of 2011. She interned with the company before becoming a full-time employee and has served in a variety of capacities within the organization including Lead Underwriter. In her current role as Vice President – Operations, Marnie manages the Underwriting and Funding Departments along with other administrative duties.
Marnie is also the Government Relations Specialist for the MCDC Loan Programs. An imperative part of this role is to prepare, interpret, review and monitor legislation and administrative regulations affecting the MCDC Loan Programs. She also spends time in Washington DC each year developing and maintaining ongoing contact with local elected officials and their staff.
Marnie graduated from Aquinas College in 2010 with a Bachelor’s degree in Sustainable Business and a Minor in Accounting.
