Sandy Bloem is a Senior Loan Officer who markets the SBA 504 and SBA Community Advantage loan programs throughout Michigan, with a primary focus on West Michigan. She works with lenders, small business owners, commercial real estate brokers, and community organizations to educate on the benefits of each program. Sandy has wide-ranging experience in all steps of SBA loan programs, from origination and underwriting, to closing and servicing.
Sandy’s career in SBA lending started with leading the SBA Low-Doc program for FMB (First Michigan Bank) back in the 90’s, to leading a CDC in Michigan for 10 years, followed by underwriting and closing SBA loans for a few years in Florida. Most recently she served as a Commercial Loan Officer with Consumers Credit Union.
Sandy graduated with a Bachelor’s Degree in Finance from the Seidman School of Business at Grand Valley State University, but the most valuable education has come through real life experience over the years.
