East Lansing, MI (August 28, 2018) – Michigan Certified Development Corporation (MCDC) President Mark Williams is pleased to announce the promotion of Eric Kehler to Vice President – 504 Lending

In his new position, Eric will utilize his expertise and experience in developing territories to lead the sales team at MCDC. He will play a key role in driving the overall marketing strategy for the organization with the goal of expanding the influence of MCDC with small businesses statewide. Eric will continue to service his mid-Michigan territory where he has excelled the last 14 years.

President Williams cited Eric’s many years of experience in business development and highly productive Small Business Administration (SBA) 504 lending. “This is a welldeserved promotion for Eric. He has been key to growing MCDC into one of the premier CDCs in the country and the largest in Michigan for 14 years running. Eric will work closely with the other MCDC Loan Officers to enhance our presence in our existing markets and expand the influence MCDC has throughout the state providing small businesses with the capital they need to grow and create new jobs.”

Eric joined MCDC in 2004 as a Senior Loan Officer. He is a graduate of the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor. Prior to joining MCDC Eric worked as a financial manager for a non-profit organization as well as in consumer finance.
